The shorts don't need your shares. They can accomplish the same thing through naked shorting and/or reverse conversions. The shorts can create air shares just about anytime they want to.

I verified with TDAmeritrade about the removal of margin from our accounts and it is now done. We do not own the amount of shares that many of you do, but the shorts will never be able to borrow shares from any of our accounts again.

I must admit, before today, I never realized that I had assisted in their destructive practices by having the ability to use margin in some of our accounts. We never use margin, but that does not seem to matter, by having the ability, we had made it possible for them to borrow these shares. I apologize for my ignorance.
