One (or in your bogus example 147) miscast vote(s) in a hundred million votes, in my mind, is not argumentatively equivalent to one dead child/wife/husband/law officer/congress woman/ad nauseum...so no, I am not against limiting access to firearms to those who shouldn't have them.
The lost phrase in the 2nd amendment kerfuffle is, "...well regulated". WTF is well regulated about todays illegally held arsenals. The estates of tens of thousands of innocent, maimed and/or dead americans would like to know.
