On the regulatory side, in February, 2014, the FDA issued its Proposed Order proposing the creation of a new Class II designation to house BIEL type devices, an enhancement of the Class III FDA approval BIEL has had for many years. FDA stated it was doing so, “on its own initiative” and, “based on new information”, after publicly stating its need to increase in-house Devices Division staff and doing so! FDA asked for public comments, then reviewed over 400 of them in June of 2014 and is now drafting, revising and circulating for approval its Final Rule on its own Class II Proposal. Now, implying any link between BIEL and WAG would be speculative embellishment, but, patience, FDA new Class II home for BIEL, application and approval as Class II products, perhaps OTC approval simultaneously and being a solid winner at Boots is a good place to be and I highly doubt Walgreens would slam the door. Remember, both efficacious and side-effect free and we’re currently killing Americans with outrageous Rx analgesic drug abuse? You judge it as to whether we need to fix the problem with a simple, safe, inexpensive solution already here! To not do so quickly becomes laughable, yet tragic, because it’s not how we’re supposed to look after our own people! This can and should be resolved by the close of business today!
