I am not sure what it meant in terms of size of the primary tumor, as we have heard that in some cases, the injected tumor actually becomes larger due to infiltration with immune cells, but it must have resulted in some containment of some kind, or possibly the immune system walled it off so that it could be resected. I don't want to speculate because I don't know the details yet but having his tumor go from inoperable to operable is good news. I don't think the surgeons would have gone in on a Stage 4 patient if they did not believe he would have the belief that surgery would provide him a longer term benefit.
