hi dig,

i think there is a risk that the desire to understand the product becomes all about a supply side claim to prescience again.

same old thing. once this one thing is complete, the market will be ready. glory is right around the corner.

but the certification mouse-wheel keeps on spinning.

"Once an OEM that makes a TPM has met that PP then those 26 Nations will accept that product as being certified and usable in their networks with no further requirements for certification in the individual countries." http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=107326500

"There is stuff going on beyond Wave's control in Getting Wave's Drive Trust Manager certified. The SED's have to be certified and meet the protection profiles of the NIAP and the nations involved including the UK CESG. The SED has to meet the "Encryption Engine" PP.

Wave's Software has to meet it's own Protection Profile being developed called Authorization Acquisition (AA) PP." http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=107598396

dunno how anyone has the patience to pursue this line of research. especially when we can see how easily it outwits anyone's timeline. certifications heaped atop one another forever. who knows what the next one will be?

it makes more sense to me to focus on what is saleable now and to let wave worry about standards that are developing and developing and developing after a decade.

it ain't a great big organised global plan that is also, paradoxically, totally secret and impervious to market discovery. it's a mouse-wheel. you win by selling products based on existing standards.
