Looking at nail salons for sale online this seems to be a great way to get cashflow for a very small investment. Many nails salons are selling for 50-100K. The only problem I see is that they need to acquire a lot of them to make hiring individual salon managers as well as an area manager to oversee them to make it efficient...let alone get quantity discounts on supplies like they have mentioned. You can't just buy a salon and hope it will run itself. You need active management you can trust to keep the service levels up to expectations. A few bad yelp ratings and you're done for.
Here's hoping WDRP runs with this idea and goes crazy acquiring a dozen salons in each corner of the Dallas/Ft Worth geographic area. Then they can chose a chain name and expand to other geographic areas.
