That RSHO ownership issue is interesting

If CannaVest does own RSHO, then it would be their product that the defendants were disparaging, and MJNA might not have standing to sue.

I think that the ownership of the RSHO brand is what the Roen/MJNA lawsuit in NV is about, because while CannaVest talks a bit about RSHO, they don't list it in their online store.

Regarding this $100M suit brought by MJNA, I think I've found a few mistakes with regards the the dating of events, connections not mentioned that might be detrimental to MJNA's arguments, and even noticed a few spelling errors. What is making analysis tough, however, is the near complete unreadability of most of the exhibits. It's almost as if they don't want anyone to be able to read them.

What's interesting to me about this case is that it's all about frantic parents trying to treat their kids for serious medical problems with what CannaVest/MJNA -- in order to meet FDA requirements -- is selling as a new and extremely expensive food product that hasn't been tested for medical applications.

And when one considers the history of many of the people involved with the various companies, we're not talking about Jonas Salk here. Joshua Hartsel was possibly the first actual scientist in CannaVest's employ, and Dr. Makriyannis didn't join the company until June, 2014, while this testing at Stewart was winding down.

The question in the suit will be whether or not these customers, Murray and Cranford had malicious intent and were colluding, or if this was a natural reaction to some kids having adverse reactions that could be within the normal bell curve for side effects, coupled with concern over how good these new and untested companies (CannaVest and MJNA) were at quality control.

Meanwhile, according to the Time article you posted, the Charlotte's Web CBD oil is selling (where legal,) for $0.05/mg, versus $0.33/mg for the CBD from HempMeds.
