1man, I agree that the steps are not enough. However, I do get in the mail, snail mail in my box, monthly newsletters from our state board of public accountancy. In it each month is a section of disciplinary actions taken by the board against CPAs in my state. A CPA can be disciplined and lose his/her license for a DUI. Many are suspended on the first offense, but the suspension is diverted in most cases. I read many of cases, many are strange. You don't see these in the news or by the SEC.
I guess Berman might be reinstated, but he has to conform to Florida and the SEC. And if he even gets a DUI in the future, it might violate his probation with the state of Florida and be eventually revoked. So let due process happen. Things have a way for working out.
