IMO it made Sykes look like a bully (which he is) and it made Wolf look humbled. I don't think Wolf is a bad guy....and I point again to the philanthropy that he did, while Sykes talks about the homeless guy wanting a bottle of Jack Daniels.....Two totally differently philosophies on life and two totally different souls, imo. If I was back in Vietnam I would definitely prefer to have Wolf at my side rather then Sykes. Sykes comes across as the most selfish hedonist on the face of the earth.
