However, I called VPC and they told me that they don't use the ENGEL system there but they DO buy their alloy from a "industrial mfg. source" = has to be MTRN.

a) I'm surprised they told you/were open about that. I don't doubt you at all, but hopefully, they're not full of it, but I don't really trust them and they have no motive to be truthful, since they're not public.

b) If true (no pun intended), that is good news for LQMT that LQMT truly has the latest iteration and VPC doesn't have their hands on it.

c) If not Engel, then it may very well be the Husky machines the UCC's were filed for that were somehow adapted for BMG-use.

Keep in mind that they probably have NDA's on those customer sales, but even a test run for Apple could probably run into some pretty big bucks. I mean, we're not talking about LQMT "prototype" customers. And this explains a lot of VPC isn't using the Engel system - says a lot about VPC.
