I'm not sure if the attorney was short or not......but he is definitely bearish on the common stock. On the other hand, he does indicate a potential interest in buying the convertible notes (if the price is right), which have a higher priority than the common stock in the Chap. 11 process. As such, he obviously doesn't think that all stakeholders will be wiped out.

I truly enjoy the challenge in trying to decipher the outcomes of these bankruptcy cases. There are so many scenarios that could play out.
