Had a CPA friend tell me recently that he has a fair number of older clients who are still on the sideline after pulling out of the market during the recession. Their opportunity cost is staggering.

Many years ago, someone who knew that I traded stocks told me he wanted to start investing but was looking around for something with no risk. Seriously. This was an adult.

It's gambling. If a person doesn't like that, then stay out of the casino.
