Not that I care very much whether Adam pretends to be Batman or whoever in his fantasies, but I would guess his admiration of the fictional antagonist lies in his estimation of that character's self-directed moral compass to do the "right" thing, even if technically illegal. Him and his against the world. Or some such megalomaniac thing.

I'd offer you advice, but I just don't care about your money, unless you give me money to care about your money. I might even be tricking you with the above post...
