Noticing a symbol that is dormant, then noticing the $ value behind activity such as today is absolutely wrong. Those who notice dormant symbols come to life should be noticing everything else. There are patterns to how dormant symbols come to life...

On this particular scan it should be obvious someone is quietly tapping into DRSX? Yes, but much more to it.

I first ask myself: What's going on last 3 months, size of 10day moving average alerts, days in between, single trades, did the buy move it or was it a few weeks later that moved the PPS up?
If there were 1 trade approx. every 3 weeks, why 2 or 3 trading days in a row now? Etc...

8.01 200k volume did it move much compared to the 29k volume from .0014 to .002? No.

There are times when a dormant play comes to life, but only in volume. Someone isn't eager enough to tap the ASK, patient at the BID. But what proceeds the next few weeks.. .is it the same or is there a PPS move? That is a big factor in one's decision, this is more than seeing a few volume spikes on a dormant symbol.

A point to back that up even further on a dormant play is of course knowing the approx. SS and float, then noticing what moves it, and the volume on 3.03.14 http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/drsx/historical
808,000 shares going down... but everyone know's you can't just take a dormant symbol with no volume and sell 800,000 shares. Doesn't happen and never has.

Someone ask's 800k so what, it didn't move and 7 months ago. Yeah but if one makes that kind of comment, then they are not reading the entire 'trading strategy formula' as a whole.

Consider that all shells when purchased, change hands, an attorney steps in, initial paperwork is filed, or once in motion how many months does it take to finalize this or that? 7 months is nothing...

But is that the only set of key DD Points to consider?

The big picture is take into consideration all DD_Points
Consider it high-risk, but not any higher than what everyone else is trading on except being patient....
and limit one's dollar amount to say less than $100.

If I would have been around yesterday and noticed this symbol pop up, it would have been obvious as it was to you... this one rarely comes up on a real-time scanner. The symbols that do not come on in real-time on a regular bases make for the best 10bagger+ possibilities unless your a front-loading promoter!

Nice catch on this one... you do a great job spotting everything but the obvious! Obvious usually means over-played and then more times than not stay-away...

PTF should have 5,000 followers who wish to learn more, stay away from group plays that are usually already in progress by the time they hear about it and more...
