Hi karw, re NO-DOWN AIM:

So I use a no down machine and got 2 buys lately.
Before that I had 2 buys, so a total of 4 times 6% buys. I have now 80% more shares after the last 2 buys.

where can I find info about the NO-DOWN version of AIM? I would like to try it myself, esp. on very volatile instruments (I'm itching to AIM inverse volatility via XIV).

For instance, what did you pick as the start period of your virtual GNAT AIM and based on what? I did a quick test and it seems it started in early 2011 in order to generate 4 buys.

I want to apply this myself, but the starting point makes a huge difference, no? For instance, why start from a top if in real life one would not have done it?

How about something more random: insist on the stock having 3 years of history. Go back to the beginning and start on the day the last sell was executed. In the GNAT example, this would've started the virtual AIM in Oct 2011 and generated two buys since then.
