Dr. Lu heads WMHI R&D. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He joined NASA JPL in Caltech as a senior researcher in 2004. In his time with NASA JPL, he has received many honors including the NASA Honors Award for exemplary performance in development and transition of first-of-its-kind intelligent autonomy technology derived from NASA flight missions to Navy applications, 2011, and NASA Board Award for "DSN Performance Dashboards" By NASA Inventions and Contributions Board, 2009. Dr. Lu is also a President of Rema International, a consulting company for technology start-ups and business development.
