What's the chance of the $VIX going much higher this week?

I noticed the miners tanked with the DOW at the end of day while $gold went higher but I think the Fed does step in if it becomes too out of control before elections but especially if the Dem's are going to keep control of the Senate...

?? Never mind, they'll still find a way to blame it on the Repub's. LOL
