$JNPR,...Juniper -3.1% AH on Q3 warning
Juniper (NYSE:JNPR) now expects Q3 revenue of $1.11B-$1.12B, below prior guidance of $1.15B-$1.2B and a $1.18B consensus. EPS guidance is now at $0.34-$0.36, down from a prior $0.35-$0.40 and below a $0.38 consensus.
Not surprisingly (given both Juniper's Q2 CC remarks and industry trends), the company blames "lower-than-anticipated demand from service providers, particularly in the U.S." Juniper's recent selloff appears to be limiting the AH damage.
Full Q3 results arrive on Oct. 23. Deep packet inspection hardware firm Procera has also warned after the bell.
MKM's downgrade and Morgan Stanley's estimate cuts were well-timed
