Red Giant's GIANT-SIZE #1s Get 900,000 Copies per Issue Ordered From Comic Shops Alone
Comic Book Retailers Show Enthusiasm for Free Comics Initiative
ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwired - September 30, 2014) - Red Giant Entertainment Inc. (OTC: REDG), an innovative Intellectual Property company specializing in high quality characters and content for use in a variety of media and entertainment, is pleased to announce that preliminary orders from Diamond Comic Distributors total approximately 900,000 copies for each #1 issue of Red Giant's GIANT-SIZE free line of ad-supported comic books.

The advertising-supported, free book line consists of one title per week in any given month and will kick off December with GIANT-SIZE ACTION #1, GIANT-SIZE FANTASY #1, GIANT-SIZE ADVENTURE #1, and GIANT-SIZE THRILLS #1. Each book contains two separate on-going stories, playing off its title moniker, and widening the net to attract new readers in the process. It is the acquisition of new readers that has long been Red Giant's stated goal.

GIANT-SIZE ACTION will feature TESLA (a buddy action series featuring historical characters Nicola Tesla and Mark Twain), written by Terry Keefe & David Lawrence with art by Bong Dazo; and WAYWARD SONS (modern descendants of mythic heroes, now in development as a feature film), written by Benny Powell and illustrated by Nigel Raynor.
GIANT-SIZE FANTASY offers DUEL IDENTITY (America's favorite female hero is secretly a deadly spy) written by Elaine Lee with art by Jon Lam & Candice Han; and THE FIRST DAUGHTER (the commander-in-chief's superpowered daughter leads a team of time-displaced presidential offspring fighting an alien invasion), written by Chris Crosby & Mike Rosenzweig with art by Tina Francisco.
GIANT-SIZE ADVENTURE will premiere AMPED (disabled children given enhanced android bodies for mobility) written by Brian Augustyn with art by Pasquale Qualano; and MAGIKA (based on Red Giant's upcoming JOURNEY TO MAGIKA animated feature film about a young boy who finds himself in a fantastical land) written by Kevin Juaire & David Lawrence with art by Wilson Tortosa & Sebastian Cheng.
GIANT-SIZE THRILLS launches MONSTER ISLE (teens accidentally unleash monsters from an abandoned amusement park) written by Larry Hama with art by Aurelio Massara; and PANDORA'S BLOGS (a supernatural romance about a young blogger uncovering the mysteries of her new town), by David Campiti, Jinky Coronado & Larry Tuazon.
