How wrong that is of Saleen to do so ETC. What about Tesla taking the Lotus and making the Tesla Roadster…??

Oh please. Was the Elises an electric car?

Tesla didn't "take" the Lotus Elises and made the Roadster. Tesla took the Lotus Elise chassis and did EVERYTHING ELSE.

Saleen needs a whole car from another manufacturer to get what they then call a "Saleen car".

Also the Roadster had a lot of problems and they ended up changing pretty much anything that came from Lotus and AC Propulsion (Saleen's supposed partner).

Its development doesn't compare in anyway with the 416.

Saleen bought a P85, put a body kit on it, a little more leather in the interior and changed Tesla's helical cut gear for a cheaper straight cut gear in order to make more noise.

It is a complete failure.
