Bacala....a concern??
I realize that this is wishful thinking on my part, but what I make of this is that the Army will take some of this $30B (even just small change) that they are going to spend on upgrading and standardizing their enterprise IT environment over the next decade and spend it on utilizing those TPMs that they just mandated be present on all new desktop and laptop computers. Even more wishful thinking would have me believe that this spending would lead to revenues for this company, Wave Systems (are you aware of their products?), that I have made an investment in. And of course these revenues would lead to an increase in the share price, which in turn would result in a monetary gain for me and my family. We would like that.
So you see, it isn't so much a concern as it is a warm fuzzy feeling that this news gives me. Perhaps not unlike what a Las Vegas casino owner feels when he sees those packed tour busses heading towards town from LA on the I-15. He knows that they may only be retirees coming up to play the nickle slots, but he also knows that enough of that small change can add up to real money. I think ITES2-S&H could result in some real money for Wave.
