I didn't get the same repulsive reaction as everyone else did from F's 'tongue-ear' analogy.

First of all, he asked rhetorically, 'Is my tongue coupled to your ear drum?', not 'Is my tongue in your ear?' (big difference) and he was simply creating an analogy of how ludicrous it was for Murphy to say that the output data driver was coupled to the external clock.

I think he scored on this point when he showed the jury the five pages of text that it took for Murphy to show how the output data driver was coupled to the clock. If it is coupled to the clock, it is via a very complex set of circuitry, in my (OONSITA) opinion.

Cal, what's your opinion on the coupling issue?
