Yes, it seems the "inconsequential minutia" is causing some issues.
Right after the quarter is over, management needs to start releasing some information. Otherwise, the assumptions will probably not be positive and the current negative bias would continue.
A release of positive, substantial information could reverse the trend significantly. I believe waiting until mid-November to tell shareholders anything would be a mistake.
Can you imagine trying to sell product when your share price has been cut 50% in just 4 months? The competition loves that type of action.
