Here's those various ETFs for the Basic Materials sector.

Change the time frame to 253 days for a year (X-axis) or 65 days for one quarter. Take a look at the various year-over-year comparisons by sliding the X bar along the bottom.

I should mention that in February of this year the PowerShares component changed its filtering method from a more fundamental approach to the Dorsey Wright "momentum" based filter. This change is not reflected in the data older than February.

Also, you can click on the BAR CHART version and then "Animate" the graphic. This is instructional, too. To Animate it right-click on the graphic and select Animate.
