It's now a total myth that Republicans are the "big business" and "rich" party since the Democrats get funded as much if not more as the Republicans by big business and the Democrat federal politicians have higher net worths than the Republican federal politicians. Some of the biggest businesses and billionaires these days (Google, Apple, GE, Hollywood execs, numerous multimillionaire sport stars & entertainment industry executives, George Soros, Warren Buffett) are well known Democrat supporters. I believe the real snake in the grass concerning Amarin is Margaret Hamburg and her hedge fund husband, whose hedge fund owns huge amounts of Amarin competitors GSK and AZN stock. Also I believe none of the Senate HELP committee members should own any biotech stocks, as to help ensure no conflicts of interest.
