You are on the TOP of your skills imo. There are also companies that clean them up. Check out HDOGTX on ihub who follows that type stuff.
The major holder of a shell that I mentioned to wsgi,is Mr Robert Ellin, who along with Mr Jay Wolf, were/are microcap hedge fund managers.
Don't know whether or not they looked, but like u, I think, a "clean" shell is better.
Shells are expensive, however legacy can be most costly, imo. There were/are cleaner shells than Macro ,according to this article, imo.
