Sorry I can not go along with zumantu's ringing endorsement of AJAX..

Probably got something to do with his posting preposterous fibs. Like the time he posted that I was "run out of Massachusetts" and had to go the Florida. Which is ridiculous. Florida is probably the toughest state in the USA for an out of stater to get a medical license, because it is a retirement destination. I went to Florida because I could not take the winters in Ma.

What AJAX did not know was there was another Mass surgeon, Ziplock on this board, that knew me well as I had operated on his wife and he defended me against AJAX's liable.

AJAX has posted he talked to WAXman (which might very well have happened), but the bottom line is Waxman has done nothing for Amarin and he certainly would be in a position to help if he so wished..draw your own conclusions).
There is no evidence either from the FDA or the company that there was ever any negotiation over the label. A negotiation of this sort would be out of character for the FDA as it is their responsibility to determine "labeling" and they do not share that responsibility with outsiders. The Amarin CEO was asked about this at a CC after the SPA rescission and he denied such a discussion took place.
