Thanks for the response orcroft. It is easy to make mistakes when writing up technical things so I understand quite well, having done it often enough enough myself.

Notihng positive happens in the aim universe until a stock's MACD has had a crossover.

Not being all that familiar with MACD - I've seen the name and that is about it - can you point me to a good reference or explain how it works and what is is based on?

How does MACD compare with the toofuzzy 13/30 day moving average approach as a signal?
