in general, if apple is pushing genuine security for data stored in a user's device, that is good news for a company that claims to secure client side data. other providers will need to offer solutions. so they make potential clients.

but i don't know if apple is using a wave chip. unfortunately a secure element and a tpm are usually likely to be distinct from one another.
