But it was two separate debts. The original claim or settlement did not address the $750,000 since it only had one defendant...the corporation. Does the law allow different defendants for separate note in the same case....i.e. $750,000 for only the corporation and separately $250,000 for Peter personally and the corporation. Sounds like it would be very confusing for the Judge to decide two different cases in the same action of the different plaintiffs.
