Copied .. The recent announcement by the DTCC shows that it has shares on deposit. How many ?? Is it 133 billion ? No one knows yet. But the DTCC knows. However the DTCC does not know how many shares the brokers still have on their books. If the collective holdings are 'X' and the DTCC only surrenders 'Y' .. and 'X' is bigger than 'Y' .. THERE'S SHORTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X minus Y. I love it. Don't you just love figures ?
