Phil Robertson, Christian, hunter, homophobe, and Duck Commander (aka patriarch) on the execrable television show Duck Dynasty, was brought onto Sean Hannity’s television show to give his opinion on ISIS. After flaunting his Bible (“I never leave home without my Bible and my woman”), he proposes to either convert ISIS to the gospel of Jesus or, if that fails, engage them in a gunfight.

Why this loon is taken seriously as someone whose opinion carries weight defies me. It’s America, Jake! And I apologize to the rest of the world on behalf of my country.

'biblically speaking, the whole is under the control of the evil one' .. shite! .. and doesn't Robertson know that Jesus is an important guy in Islam, too .. both of these guys say "they" which should be always qualified with 'extremist thugs of Islam ' or such like .. just "they" suggests all, even though Robertson later does say "this group" .. shit Phil, they are thugs and they are not about Islam, either!

So if Sunnis disagree with ISIS' theology and don't like living under its rule, why do some of them seem to support ISIS? It's all about politics. Both Syria and Iraq have Shia governments. Sunni Muslims aren't well-represented in either system, and are often actively repressed.
