$AMZN,...Amazon in talks with O2 to become Fire phone's exclusive U.K. provider

Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) has entered advanced talks to sell its new Fire phone exclusively through Telefonica's (NYSE:TEF) O2 in the U.K. The partnership between the two could be announced as early as this week, FT reports.

Amazon previously struck an exclusive deal with AT&T when it launched the phone in the U.S. this past summer, but the device has met with mixed reviews and reports of sluggish sales.
