Floridian, clamcakes, snowblow.F6, Sophist and all,

First of all the main reason for moving to this board was the lack of technical support at the Raging Bull. Do you remember how we could only post a few paragraphs at a time? Trust me as a moderator this is the best site on the net and could get better if everyone would try and help me by listening to suggestions and the means here to deal with those that are problem makers.

The major difference between here and the Bull was only I could approve membership. As you know Once and the rest never had the guts to try and join because they knew I wouldn’t put up with their antics.

Over here it’s a different story because this is their business and everyone gets a chance to participate but must follow the rules.

The main problem I see here is everyone wants to run the show and when someone makes a post that’s a personal attack or contains vulgarity someone always jumps in to protect the person attacked and also uses personal attacks or vulgarity to protect the person. This does nothing but add fuel to the fire and prolongs the off topic which in turn provides 100’s of boring posts. Please use the TOS feature as I do instead of trying to settle it yourself.

Let me give a few examples. I seen many complaints about this new poster OrienSciFi but I only seen one poster claim they were turning in a TOS. I know I did. I also saw vulgarity aimed at him but that will also get that person in jail.

I also seen Sophist address a message to me and Matt and Matt’s name was about the 6th word in his message. Matt is in charge of all IHUB and it’s hard enough to read all the messages on this board so how did Sophist expect Matt who manages all the boards to catch his message?

Also F-6 accused someone of returning that was booted. Did he take the time to inform anyone but the accused? Well I did and I hope he did because if it’s true it will be dealt with right away. That's a IHUB violation and a TOS would resolve the issue.

If everyone here wants to make this a better place it can be done but everyone has to cooperate and that means you too. Please use the TOS as much as you like and you will see how much better things can be.

Matt has done a great job patrolling this thread and I can tell by the amount of posts that he deletes. You can help him if you want but you can’t run the show.

What did that add or start?
