Hi Allen, Re: Older AIM books.................

Almost all of the AIM books with the AIM-Users bookplate inside were shipped along with the Newport software that Bob Norman and his partner wrote back in the early '90s. I bought the books in bulk from Signet at the time and put the bookplates inside the covers. Bob shipped the books as he got orders for the software as he felt people needed to know how the Newport program was developed.

Now, if you could get your hands on a Newport floppy disk, then you'd be all set (if you still have an XP computer, or older, running somewhere that would accept a floppy disk!).

As with the book, it would be interesting to know if anyone is still using the Newport software (besides me) or any of the other various versions of AIM software. I think, like the book, people fiddled with it for a while but became apathetic or just distracted. Bob Bondurant's high performance driving school taught "Smoothness, Consistency and Concentration" as the basic rules for going fast on the race track. I found that those three also help in almost all other aspects of life including investing.

AIM is structured for smooth, consistent performance as long as we maintain our concentration!
