Come on DG -forget Family dollar - Move on to Dollarama OTC:DLMAF 84.79 biggest dollar store based in CANADA then move your headquarters there for the TAX evasion. Just my opinion here, but burger king did it and warren buffet gave it the thumbs up! All three of these dollar guys individually need to do something. I say let dltr have fdo and buy dollarama canada instead. dltr or anyone will fail with Levine. just another example of a spoiled brat trust fund baby running a company their forefather built into the ground. Hopefully the DG bid rejection will make dltr pay more. Shareholders of FDO know DG is a better fit and hopefully they will be able to file a lawsuit when crash and burn under poor management unquestioned continuously considering the guy never actually worked a day in his life -
History-by 1979 Leon (dad) Levine had 380 stores owned solely. Howard was 21 but didn't start a job there until 1981 where he was senior president of merchandising and advertising LOL at 23yrs old 400+ stores, but that wasn't good enough so he quit in '87 and was self employed as an investment manager until 1996
In 1998 he decided to rejoin the family business as CEO making 5.6m/yr
