Dollar General DG is one of the few names that can and has thrived in a economic downturn. The chart looks primed. Did a video on it recently: Dollar General is one to watch in an economic downturn
dg again stick to the defensive plays like this until market finds direction gl
86's helloo :) dollar stores gonna be one of the biggest gainers if recession hit's usa, looks like it so far if tariff wars won't stop
got that 80 key break :)
sold half riding rest, 80 break will be key here
finally got a starter on dip today for longer term swing.
So, 52wk high at 168. There is no way this isn't a blip in time. This has to return to it's highs. Nothing really bad happened to bring it down here. We'll be back and at least get Dividends along the way!
Those who sold at $74 must be upset 😢 now
I just want to say what a disgusting company this is to its employees and I hope it goes bankrupt. I worked there and was unjustly fired a few weeks ago. I only worked their for two months or so. I was harrassed many times by my superiors with down right hateful language and then fired when I finally said I wasn't going to be talked to that way any more. I've never had a more miserable experience in my 🧬 Fe and the pay is the bottom of the barrel compared to other jobs of similar nature. I was threatened with violence by my superiors as well and they did nothing about it when I told them about it. Instead they fired me since I was the new guy I guess. Never once missed work or called in while I constantly was called in to fill other people's shift who constantly called in. Never complained once. I was the best worker they had. I even have a college degree and sales experience. I could have really helped this company out and qualify for way higher positions than I was working if I applied for them. But this was literally disgusting.
I thought that DG was supposed to be where people shopped when they were broke. Says to me people are so poor they can't even shop at the dollar general.
