good2be, didn't mean to get the grassy knoll going here. Just that many mass media types paint GTE as a bunch of dummies in a garage, with 2 tomato cans and a string. From Mr. Dumas's autobiography with Huff, I don't necessarily believe that is accurate. For my own personal curiousity, I still wonder why Huff chose to "back into" (from the COB letter) this existing co. (with apparent skeletons?), as opposed to starting fresh.. Probably a very simple and logical answer. The team that is evolving in GTE is no accident, IMHO. (insert spooky noise)

...and that's a good thing.
