Olddog: I can only speculate that an error or omission in the arbitration award was caught and the panel corrected same on July 14, 2014. IDCC then filed an Amended Petition to confirm the corrected arbitration award and attached a copy of same to it's Amended Petition.

The Arima pleading could be confusing because it recites alternative positions in it's required defensive pleading. The Rules of Civil Proceedure allow parties to plead and attempt to prove what would be considered conflicting positions. Arima now pleads that they want to Vacate the Corrected arbitration award OR in the alternative to vacate it.

It appears that they are challenging all or part of the tribunals award.
