Mo’Ne Davis, the 12 year old female little league pitcher who will be the first little leaguer to ever be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated will be pitching tonight in a double elimination round game that will be televised on ESPN at 7:30 PM ET.

Mo’Ne Davis throws a two-hit shutout in the Little League World Series

The story of Philadelphia’s Mo’Ne Davis keeps on getting better. One of only two girls in the Little League World Series, the 13-year-old pitched a two-hit shutout to lead Philadelphia, Pennsylvania over Nashville, Tennessee 4-0 on Friday afternoon. Needing only 70 pitches, Davis struck out eight and didn’t walk a batter as she became the first girl to throw a shutout in the LLWS, and to win a game.

Her performance drew the attention of some of baseball’s best, including Mike Trout, Marcus Stroman, and Dexter Fowler
