Thanks. I though he had it wrong, but..., well you never know as slippery a slope language is.

One of my creations for explaining homonyms for classes I've taught on technical writing is:

Grammar: Knowing there is no there there, that it is not their there, and they're not there. (With apologies to Gertrude Stein)



Of course this works best when said but given the quality (or lack thereof) of proofreading these days, you need it written out as well.

BTW, Tom, I stumbled across an old post on the Wayback Machine explaining your selections and use of ValueLine. Truly a useful post. One very minor confusion; however, they don't always call it "Sales ($mill). With some they refer to "Revenue ($mill) or "Gross Income ($mill)."

Also the Small & Mid-Cap version of ValueLine is laid out differently with label on the left, not right for some items.

You might consider putting some of the links in a sticky for newer people to make it easier to find a lot of stuff they can look at to get a better understanding of such things as ValueLine, vWave, etc.
