a) the company will be in the 100's of millions if GE does a contract with them so I wouldn't look at the price tag right now
b) might as well try the milk before you buy the cow type approach
c) nothing is guaranteed and I think that in their JTDE agreement I'm sure there is a clause around what patents they both have or share during their time developing this technology together and certain milestones that need to be hit. I think that if this goes well with the fuel nozzle it will make economical sense to buy out SGLB but I think they want to wait and see how things go in a production environment. It's a gamble really since they could buy them now at a lower price and nothing might come of it or they end up paying more but they see printrite 3d works. Atleast this is my opinion.
