That's true. Most of the naysayers seem unable to keep themselves from getting in the way of management. I think it's done more out of laziness than out of malice.

IDCC management has quadrupled annual R&D spending since the 1995 Motorola debacle to adapt its business plans to a cut-throat and rapidly changing global market environment yet to this day, we still have people asking what management wants to do with those equity incentives since management already has all the fruits of previous R&D investments. Huh?

There's not much one can do with that point of view.<g>
