Hey montana2,

Believe the quote in question came from this post at Yahoo back in February; emphasis mine:

Court Updates via yahoo

The Bloomberg reporter was in court in SF today. He also had the opportunity to inverview Danforth after Kramer ruled.

He got it right. There will be a lot more out tomorrow from Bloomberg.

Kramer gave Rambus everything they wanted and what MU samsung and Hynix most feared: The DOJ documents "more than a million pages" (all nicely organized on 3 or 4 DVDs), the grand jury testimony, and the 250 pages previously submitted to Kramer.

As an earlier poster noted Kravitz was overheard to say about these Disks "They will appeal this all the way to the Supreme Court. I've seen the documents. You haven't. The're DYNAMITE."

Samsung, Micron and Hynix have 30 days in which to file a writ or appeal of this decision, which may or may not be accepted by the Appeals Court.

In addition, Kramer told the boys that the case would proceed forthwith, in any case, on Rambus' request for injunctive relief, which is not subject to any legal path of appeal.

He also ruled that Discovery could continue against MU, HY and Samsung while Hynix and Samsung attempted to appeal Kramer's previous decision disallowing them to go to Arbitration.

Their appeal against his order disallowing Arbitration is before the Appeals Court and should be settled by within a month.

The last delicious ruling was that while Rambus could continue to take discovery from the three, Samsung and Hynix were barred from taking discovery from Rambus. It seems that if they do they give up any right to arbitration (which of course has already been denied by Kramer in any case.)

Sweet!!!

I attended both hearings in SF at 9:30A and San Jose at 2:00.

More about Whites "Tentive Rulings" later. They too are good for Rambus, but there will be a "Final Pretrial Conference" Tuesday 3/6/6 in White's Court where the Attys will be allowed to argure the Tentative Rulings on the Motions in Limine.

There just wasn't time today to get it all done. And White has to complete a Criminal Trial by the 8th or 9th, delaying the Rambus/Hynix Trial for one week to the 13th.

Good Day for all longs.

Not sure who "Kravitz" is. Seems most posters at Yahoo are attributing the quote to Mr. Cochett.

Only reason was able to find this is Capital2L reposted it here in February. In my experience, the iHub search function is the most effective of all the boards, so if you have something you think you might want to reference in the future, consider a repost here.

Just my opinion.
