Turbodog wanted to hear basher comments, so I decided to beat them to the punch.
I remember another archaelogist quote/saying, something like:
People had a lot of clutter even thousands of years ago. The only way to get rid of it was to bury it, and then here come the archaeologists to dig it all up!
Good communication is a skill AND an art, imho. To say they don't do that well is an definite understatement, imho.
