I don't know if you understand Liquid Metal is radio frequency transparent. Instead of like on the iPad using a plastic logo a liquid metal logo could be used and transmit wifi bluetooth NFC etc


LiquidMetal is not transparent to radiation in the in the radio spectrum. In fact it makes a good antenna according to Dr. Peker. I believe the antenna for the iPhone will be molded into the plastic seems in the case and not under the apple Logo.

However, looking at the logo you can see very thin wall in the area where it will be glued. The flattened area is textured with dimples for be glue adhesion. This thin wall (I believe less than 1mm)would be difficult to die cast and forging would be to crude for this part. I think it has a chance of being LM. but only a slim one. The ring around the home button seems like a more likely candidate.
