It helps to understand the "Parts is Parts" mentality. In FPG's mind, all parts is the same, I mean are the same. They are commodities. There is no difference whatsoever. Quality doesn't matter. Reliability doesn't matter. Availability doesn't matter. Customer support doesn't matter. Drivers don't matter. Reference boards don't matter and your track record certainly doesn't matter.

As long as you have a datasheet and a price list your product is fully equivalent to anyone else's product and if your pricelist says your product, unreliable/unavailable/vapor/unsupported/junk or otherwise, is the cheapest, the customer will buy it. If they for some unimaginable reason require reliable/quality/available/supported product then it must be treachery on Intel's part.

Blah blah blah, as if Netburst was all that, vs. Hammer (which Intel had to copy to compete)...

Yup, just ignore all that stuff from DELL saying that Intel paid them ever-increasing sums of money to not use AMD... And hiding the money... And getting sued by the SEC for their deceptive transactions...

Transactions for which Intel has universally either lost or settled when facing accountability over...

fpg

PS: AMD's side has only ever won cases, cash, and concessions. Intel's side has only ever lost cases, cash, and concessions. The only thing Intel has ever "won" is to not have to face several trials. While AMD may not have fared well since the cases, nobody outside of your Intel Rules fantasyland could say their side has a losing record in terms of antitrust resolutions with a straight face...

Only a hard-core Intel fanboy could say that AMD winning less than they wanted is a "loss", while Intel losing less than they could have is a "win".
