It does seem to be the case that the Dell Optiplex deal DID NOT add any money to Wave's coffers with the introduction of 1.2. It would really be wonderful if we could know how many TPM machiens Dell sold in 2005's second half, but I don't expect to know.

I think that is accurate unless I can find evidence to indicate that there was a 50 cents licensing fee from Dell as well. The memory plays tricks and I think Doma is correct. When we didn't get the upgrades, we didn't get anything.

Seems though that as Dell Laptop's proliferate and the Optiplex succesor comes along there might be a bundling fee for those desktops starting in the fall and some of the couple of million seats sold may need to be upgrades. Every 50,000 upgrades adds 2.5 million to the coffers...so the timing of that breakeven quarter depends on entirely on the upgrade rate this year and adds to the P/E in 2007.
