I mentioned some time back an article I came across re DMC actions

In brief ...I've been unable to find the article again but my recollection was that the DMC could recommend stopping a CV trial if there was at least 25% efficacy and 500 events .

We should hit 500 events around the end of the year . The question is will we see 25% efficacy .

JL had just re posted his 6/2/14 post # 28574 on Jelis -Reduce It.

One thing to remember when comparing Jelis to Reduce it .
In the Jelis secondary prevention stratum mean LDL was 177
In Reduce IT ...everyones LDL is below 100 to start with
