those very delayed 10-Qs and late 10-ks are talking to investors.

I will never understand how a CEO which knows a year in advance a 10-k will be due must have so much additional time to complete and file, same with the 10-Q. Obviously there is a desire to withhold bad news for as long as possible, what other real reason could there be? Well yeah, there is poor management to take into consideration?
